Well its been a week since I started off some random seeds and they finally broke ground today. A few had mold growing on them so I binned them ones but the rest have been moved to pots with soil in now. Im gonna have a lush garden for once.

Weather is amazing at the moment. Gonna spend sunday in the garden I think. Will take some pictures then for ya. I also started some toms yesterday and put some trellis up one wall for them. Hope they grow nicely

what's are your day/night time temperatures ATM please?

Hi Jen, don't know about 12/12 but our day temps are 18-19c with night temps 10ish! Sunny days but light rain coming our way Sunday perhaps. 12/12 may be hotter as I am on the Atlantic and he is Med.

 

One of my son's is in Barcelona this week on an exchange trip. His email yesterday said the locals were moaning about how cold it was for this time of year; it made him chuckle because he is finding it hot!

Hahahaha its freezing here at night for the time of year and by freezing I mean about 16C. It was about 27-29C today without a single cloud in the sky.

Hi, 12/12, perhaps I had you 'further east' in Spain than you are, what town are you near? Basically, Spain from Gibraltar east is the Med and west is the Atlantic. All of Portugal is the Atlantic, including Central Algarve where I am, closest known place is Armação de Pera / Albufeira.




Grey here at the moment, 12c with showers forecast for the next couple of days.

 

I sailed all round the east coast last week, Barcelona to Madeira, and back again, via Tenerife and Lanzarote. Weather was dry and sunny, but not that warm, 16 deg was the average, nights were still quite cool, obviously on board sea breezes and all that, you needed a jumper, but very "pleasant" on land.

 

You should have said sooner. Im on Fuerteventura. You could have called round and given me a hand cleaning the garden up lol. Or at least a cup o tea

With our navigating around Tenerife and Lanzarote in a hire car, we would have ended up on the "wrong" island.
