    Good morning everyone,
Well it looks like a lovely day for a spot of gardening:dancy: my garden even looks a bit happier with the sunshine on it,just need the lawns to dry out..they're saturated....
My ribs are a little bit niggley but not so bad:dbgrtmb: i also had a bit of a dizzy 'do' yesterday:scratch: ...think i may have a touch of what my mum had and woke up feeling sniffley...otherwise i'm fine:heehee:
The birds are all flitting around in the garden, there are Stoggies cuddleing up on the trellis and Blackbirds rummaging in the ivy on the garage, looks like they are looking for a new home and for the first time in a long while a good few sparrow 'couples' are courting.....Spring has arrived in Loliland:yes: for today atleast:)

Have a lovely day everyone, take it easy and take care:SUNsmile:

      Evening one and all,

Been to the doc's, ever since I had a chest infection last summer, I found I got breathless doing simple jobs. My doctor did all the usual checks, and has now decided that I need a lung capacity check with the nurse, so got an appointment in 2 weeks for that.
Also my hands are really playing me up, finding it harder to knit and crochet, the joints really sting, so I have on her recommendation going to try Glucosamine and Chondroitin for a month, if no change then she will change my medication.

Been busy making biscuits, peanut butter cookies, and a batch of chocolate orange cookies, can't wait to try them when the other half brings my coffee in the morning.

Hope you are all having a good evening. :doggieshmooze:

Sorry to hear you are suffering badly lili. I couldn't take those Glucosamine and Chrondroitin because of my stomach and acidity. For people who do manage to I have heard good reports so lets hope that they help you. I am about to pull the plug after I have clocked out on the Goodnight Thread. I am ready for an early night tonight. Take care and enjoy your evening.

          Aloha everyone,

Lili, I hope you're feeling better soon. :blue thumb: The same goes for everyone who is feeling under the weather.

'Puter is back home and the doctor said it needed a new pair of boots. Apparently the power cut had fried the boot sector. He said that he had three others that were damaged by the power cut. It was the power cutting in and out a few times in less than a second got past the surge protector. He only charged £30, which included picking up the computer, lending me a laptop, delivering the it back again and putting on a new version of backup software. Not bad :dbgrtmb:

I got more edging done and cleared the weeds, moss (we've got loads of it) and winter debris from a 5ft x 30ft section of bed. All went well until I was packing up and got hit by some very bad cramp in my thigh. Fortunately I was right by a wheelie bin and managed to grab hold of it as I was falling. It took three hours to ease up even with taking a cramp remedy. At 4 a.m. this morning I got cramp in the ankle of my other leg :mute: but that's not too bad now.

I've got to take Mrs Shiney to college in the West End this morning so I'll do some shopping in a nice deli on the way home. :)

Keep well and have a great day

          Aloha!

            Aloha everyone,

Oh Shiney, I sympathise with you over the cramp I get it regularly, sure its down to my stats, don't think you are on them are you? What is your cramp remedy, think I need that?

WOO, you are right it is a beautiful morning out there. Just about to take Amber for her 1st walk of the day. It will be a pleasure except for her sniffing all the way there and back. Takes the patience of a saint to walk her at next to dead stop speed on the other foot I cannot move very fast myself so a few tugs but not too many!

Waves to Loli, Kandy, Jazmin, Mum, Lili and Penny et al. Hope you are all ok this morning and have a lovely day. Maybe get to potter in the garden with luck.

            Aloha!:wub2:

            Good Morning!!

Son is due home at lunchtime after his week away in Spain on an exchange trip :dancy: He's the noisiest of the two so his absence has been very obvious :heehee: Before he left he asked for a roast lamb dinner when he got home; so, the lamb has just gone in studded with garlic and homegrown rosemary. I'll prep all the other bits but they won't be cooked until later.

Hard frost this morning and now fog is closing in. Hope the fog doesn't affect his return flight into Gatwick

Get well wishes to all who need them :grphg:

Wishing you a day filled with miles of smiles

Just got back from London and it was an easy drive both ways. I'll have to go back this afternoon to pick her up.

Moyra, the remedy is a homoeopathic one that Mrs Shiney makes. :blue thumb:

Oh Shiney will have to get Mrs Shiney to teach me what to do to make the cure up! Glad you got your pc done and very reasonable to for I assume a mother board.

Mum, we'll be round to dinner. Perhaps not if son is too noisy. Steve is saying he doesn't want anything today as his tummy is not good. Makes it difficult for me to know what to do.

Loli, lovely enough for your girls to enjoy being out. I'm afraid my lawn is still waterlogged so I still cannot get out there on it. Must go round and water the plants in the glass fronted shed as that thermostatically controled heater has been drying them out I expect.

Amber just enjoyed her second walk of the day but my feet were killing me and my left hip as well. So was glad to get back.
Take care everyone and enjoy this gorgeous sunshine. :wub2:
