Out of date Guinness

    I had to buy multi packs of Guiness and Barley Wine for the making of Christmas Puddings. A can of each remains in the cupboard under the stairs - they will be used in November for this year's puds,

      In case anyone else is given out of date Guinness. Well it looked OK, it smelled OK and it tasted OK so he drank it!!!!!!!!!! :ccheers: Next day was just a slight urgency to get to "the small room" but I'm told it was worth it!!! :biggrin:

      It makes a nice ingredient in beef stew and chili. Also GS chocolate cake. I am sure it is fine.

      Val if I suffer from a bit of Constipation I drink 2 pints of ,In date Guinness,and that works for me. 2009 Cans of Guinness I think I would be like Krakatoa Erupting in the toilet.:runforhills:. Why don't you give them to someone you don't like,you wont see them for some time.;).

        He is using Kronenbourg 1664 ,one of the worlds finest lager beers , as a slug trap !!! :gaah: :gaah: :gaah:
        I also never new it was possible to keep beer longer than 48 hours until I read this thread . You live and learn.
