Still firm though (is that good enough?) unlike the ones that are prepacked in the display stands. I picked these and put them in the appropriate bag before taking them to the checkout. These are huge compared to the ones in the display stand too.

The cream cracker was what I had to hand - cheeses and crackers for tea tonight. The last one was topped with an excellent extra mature gouda! Next the Jarlsberg!

All I'd say is I think they might be a bit slow to get going, once they dry out like that it can be a pain to get them moving again, two or three years to get to flowering maybe.

Its just my thoughts, I might be wrong.:)

Just purchased a couple more hellebores. Lost track of how many I now have. Nothing better in the garden right now and their foliage is a great foil to summer blooms

Just ordered some ricinus seeds from amazon. With them being toxic and having kiddies they're going at the rear of my large border.

Just come back from shopping at Morrisons. Whilst I don't need them and have no space, I couldn't resist £1 for three Stargazer lilly bulbs.

Got a Cistus 'sunset' today, as well as an Easter Cactus, and some Mina lobata and Cleome seeds.. exactly as planned. That feels good. Help me.

Edit: Morrisons is the best supermarket for plants without a doubt I think.
