          Aloha everyone,

          Everyone will be able to recognise me. I'll be the one running around trying to look busy but not actually doing anything :snork:

          Yesterday was a bitterly cold one with the temperature not getting above freezing and a wind that made it feel even colder. We still have light flurries of snow but it's not settling.

          Not a lot scheduled for today apart from still trying to catch up on the never ending paperwork and a family get together to organise. I suppose I should also start putting together the details for Open Day. Timings, helpers, posters, publicity etc.

          Keep warm, keep well and have a relaxing Sunday :biggrin:

            Good morning everyone....

            Just the thought of Shineyland bucks me up no end:dbgrtmb: ....just imagine....real Sunshine:yahoo: ....
            Hope you're on the mend Woo:dbgrtmb: and everyone else is fine too:dbgrtmb:
            Been out in the garden because i thought i heard a cafuffle in the chicken run...the girls are still in bed but it turns out there was a Blackbird trapped in the run....he must have been well hidden when i checked them last night.....still...he's had a good breakfast and has now gone on his way:dbgrtmb:
            Doesn't feel too bad out there this morning...chilly but i had my thick dressing gown on:biggrin:.....
            Well this won't buy the baby a bonnet...best get a move on....Hi Ho.....:whistle:

              Good to see you again WOO, keep well my friend. Will you and Mrs WOO be coming to Shineyland this summer? Would be nice to meet you both.

              Shiney so it's going to be a long job as I can imagine getting round that lot. Did the other gardener not work out?

              Loli Hope you are throwing off that cold. I think the string must have gone on one of the fat/seed filled coconuts as it is on the ground this morning but I have left it there because the blackbirds have found it and as they seldom eat above ground I thought leave them to it.

              Waves to Kandy, Jaz, mum, Lili, Armandii and Penny et al. Hope you are all well, keep warm and stay safe and have a good day all.

                Moyra, the other gardener, Janina, is OK but only comes in occasionally and she does the heavier work. She has dug half the veggie plot and spread compost, pruned ten fruit trees, done a lot of cutting back and digging out etc. I always do the lawn edges, cutting of grass, hedge cutting and conifer shaping, some weeding (when my back's not too bad) and general tidying and structural work.

                Mrs Shiney does loads of pruning, cutting back and weeding as well as propagating all the plants.

                Oh so you do still have some help then Shiney that's good. Well folks just finished off some lovely bread and butter pudding and custard, no sure I should with diabetes but once in a blue moon wont hurt.                   We're nice and warm and cosy here and I'm in the middle of cooking some roast chicken with all the trimmings. That will be followed by apple crumble sometime around midnight. :)
