I have bought this stephanotis from my local morrison presented in an arch shape and it looks like ready to be repotted.
What is the best course of action in dealing with the arch and shall I keep the plant indoors?

No picture, but I assume its 12"-18" high if it`s the ones I have seen in the past, I definitely would not put it outside yet, it will not be hardened off.
When I had one I kept twisting the new growth into the arch to keep its shape, If keeping it indoors, I see no reason why not to pot it on if it`s desperate.

I untangled mine, made two hoops about 18" - 24", and stuck them in the new pot at right angels so that the foliage, twined around them, resembles a "ball"

Eventually yes, you would have to make/buy a bigger arch, but so worth it for the gorgeous perfume!!

Hello, I am new on here. I also bought a Stephanotis from Morrisons last summer, growing on a hoop, It's very healthy and I got it for the bargain price of £1.99. :wow: I just wondered do you have to grow it on a hoop? I would rather take the hoop out and let it grow how it wants to. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
      Thank you.

It will grow long "tendrils" and they'll just flop down if you have nothing to train it onto. I have two hoops on mine, so it grows around what looks like a "ball" now. But a small piece of trellis, to some goal-posts or similar arrangement would do, but I think you'll find it rather uncontrollable if you don't have something for it to climb.

Many thanks for your reply and advice Kristren. I quite fancy letting it climb, although your idea using 2 hoops sounds good as well. Will have a think on that one. Thanks again for your help.:)
