Giant lily recommendation

Kristen, how long do you reckon before those seeds produce flowering plants? I really need to get into this seed saving mode myself

 

Chiltern Seeds says this (for L. regale) "It is particularly easy to raise from seed and may flower the second year from sowing. If you've not tried Lilies before, try this one." which is a lot sooner than I had expected

 

Chiltern seeds will say anything to get you to buy a packet.

 

Hahaha! Yup, I'll go with that too, but I've read that they flower after only a couple of years on other sites - the Pacific Bulb Society for example (but their talk of the technical terms surrounding the various types of Lily germination baffled me, and I couldn't find anything simple like "What temperature to germinate L regale at" !!
