Sounds more awful to us blokes :heehee:

Had to remove a few from the kitchen, one was dead on the sill outside in the morning:cry3:

Have you ever seen a Stag Bettle Pixie?

They were common in summer when I was young, not seen one since 1985 now:cry3: They made Cockchafers seem like Ladybirds.

I did see a stag beetle in Italy Ziggy, last year for the first time ever, it didn't seem as big as the cockchafer, but that was an ugly brut as well. Mind you i prefer them to spiders any day.

There is hope yet then Pixie:thumbsup:

My girlfriend was terrified of Stag Beetles. We were sat in a crowded pub beer garden one summers eve & one flew right round the garden a couple of times, guess who it landed on:D

Ever tried to get a beetle with claws off a wool jumper being worn by someone doing a banshee impression:DOH:

I think I've posted this before but it's not exactly preposessing!!!

I wouldn't want too many of them around me.

With that sort of armour I wonder what its predator is?
