Beautiful sunshine here in Essex. Wonderful Spring day. We sure are going to pay for it, I feel it in my bones.

Bright hazy sunshine this morning , got the window open but it feels a bit chilly. It will warm up soon and I can start pottering outdoors. Nice to hear the Great Tit singing "teacher, teacher "out there and the Rooks chattering in the oak trees a few gardens away. The north facing thermometer says its 16c and the barometer is falling quite steadily

    Thermometer now reading 20c,
    jacket off :phew:
removing dead stems, potting on, suprised at what's looking OK in the mini GH - including the French tarragon, fuchsias and my Autumn Salvia rooted cuttings.
I heard the primary school children playing out in their playground this lunchtime. It reminded me of last Summer,
wonderful to feel this warm again,
    Jenny

It's ok, not too warm, but in the sun it's fairly pleasant at 12C.

I'm glad it's not getting too mild though as the weekend is going to deliver severe frost here, and I'm not sure the plants would appreciate the sudden change in temperature.

it's all going mad. In the last two years hardly any rain, then we had snow on the 16th, rain last wednesday and now the rain hasn't stopped since last night. Inevitably we had a power cut ten minutes ago and everything pitch black thanks to the low clouds covering the mountain. It has the beginnings of a good year

Hi reluctant nomad ... I'm throwing the weather your way when I am not giving it to Lorea at the moment. We have been threatened with lots to come our way and it's heading SE, so ...

By the way, welcome to GC ... we do have a few of us on on the Iberian Peninsula.

I hope that it can keep it up for the rest of the year, for too much of the last couple of years the fronts have been pushed south into Valencia by the anti cyclones. And thanks for the welcome.

Yesterday turned out warm and sunny.

They promised us rain overnight but it hasn't got here, yet. No frost this morning but a bit dull.

Light grey and mild today, no sun. The barometer is still falling.
And we have 50% chance of snow on Sunday :thud:
