Can a 100% actually mean much when it comes to growing seed?
I wonder how many people only give feedback once the seed has germinated.
Surely most feedback is based on the transaction.

Dunno what the time limit is for feedback, but might it all have been left before anyone had a chance to discover that something was a poor germinator? Can you leave a follow-up feedback on eBay? Dunno the answer to that one ... but if you can then I think that says a lot about them :) However, the lack of good navigation menus in eBay makes buying from a vendor with huge number of stock lines quite a challenge - unless you just have a shopping list.

I've bought seeds on E bay, but only seed that seems unavailable in the UK.
I then take the stance that if it grows, all well and good. If it dont, well it was only a couple of quid anyway.

I have bought many seeds from ebay and as yet haven't had any bad experiences, often you can get rare/unusual stuff too and at good prices. Many sellers list all their seed at 99p a packet.

Kristen, on feedback, most of the time you recieve your item and if everything is ok you leave feedback to the seller and that's it, any further contact has to be via messages. However you don't have to leave feedback imediately and can leave it for as long as necessary, ebay simply creates a list of items you bought that you still need to leave feeback for :)

Yes the Ebay rating is based on the transaction and not the seed quality . Unlike the main seed companies which have no rating system at all :dunno: I buy seeds from many sources and luckily, like Bilbo , have never had a problem with Premier or any other seller on Ebay UK or USA.
The sourcing and distribution of seeds must be fascinating , I can't think of anything more awkward to collect and pack than seeds . It would be nice to know where they are sourced from and the quality control or lack of quality control systems that are in place.

I had some of your Thai seeds left over from last year, sown them (in case the stored rhizomes don't come up again ...)

                C. paniculata - again a few seeds left over.

                C. Tropical White. I want some Cannas in my Blue & While border.

and then C. Tropical Red - I managed to ripen a dozen seeds last year, I want more Red cannas in my Hot/Red border (mostly I am using C. warscewiczii because I find it so easy to harvest seed from it, but I want something taller and bolder and the half dozen, or so, Tropical Red will do that (I have others that a big-impact reds, but they are hybrids ...)

My C. Mystique set loads of seeds last year, so I've sown them too ... no idea what they will turn out like though, I presume C. Mystique won't come true from seed ... but its TALL so hopefully its children will be too :)
