No, didn't take it that way, thought they must be sum'at special!

However ... I had to google for a better price. Guess what I found? Incredible variation!

Moles 19p each (50 seeds per packet - need a mate to share with!)
    VegetableSeeds.net 21p (4 seeds - not many!)
    Just Seed 23p (25 seeds)
Midland Seed Company 25p (5 seeds)
    Nicky's Nursery 29p (10 seeds)
    SeedAholic 29p (10 seeds)
    JungleSeeds 39p (10 seeds)
    Chiltern Seeds 55p (6 seeds)
    T & M 58p (6 seeds)
Quick Crop £2.45 - No. of seeds unknown

Clear some more expensive ones will win on carriage if they have the ideal packet-size ...

The Midland Seed Company looks the best bet, for my needs. Good find:blue thumb:

Not heard of those before, have you grown them before and if so what do they taste like?

I got a couple of different varieties from the seed swap :dancy: , so as well as my usual Gardeners Delight and Marmande I'm trying Japanese Black Truffle and Abe Lincoln, look interesting.

                      Hiya simbad

Where do you grow your Marmande? How do you get on with them? I assume they're not of the 'Super' variety?

Hi Freddie no they're not the super variety, thats probably one to try :blue thumb:, see who can grow the biggest tomato :snork: , I grow them in the greenhouse in growbags, but only two to a bag and I use those black bottomless tomato pots on top of the growbags to give them more root space, and the usual water every day and feed weekly once fruit starts to set, found that watering iregularly causes them to split, only discovered this after leaving them in the hands of our daughters while we were away :hate-shocked: , weren't so good last year which I suppose not many peoples where due to lack of sun but usually they're lovely although I've never had large amounts of fruit but they are really huge my husbands favourites, one slice fills a sandwiche.
