Just a question how do you store your seeds ?

I keep all my seeds in the fridge, all dry before they go in some in small plastic resealable plastic bags, plus I can write on them what they are if need be.

How does everyone else keep their seeds

I keep mine in a plastic Tupperware tub in cupboard under stairs. I think ill move them to the fudge when/if warmer weather comes but my fridge has a tendency to freeze things from time to time so I'm not sure

I keep mine in little envelops labled with their names and the years they are collected. Then all the envelops go into a box (1 litre ice cream box is just the right size for me) with 2 tea spoonful grains rice (this is to keep the seeds dry). Afterwards I put the box in the fridge.

At the moment I've got 3 boxes of seeds in the fridge and I'm getting deaf to complaints.:roflol:

I keep mine in a wooden jewel box , in a cold dark garage. I don't keep seeds for more the 2 years . Some seed-packs I split and use half this year and half next year.

In our Aldi they are currently 19c - 99c, in Lidl 29c - 99c. In Aldi today, even the ones on pre-impregnated 'tape' and 'rings' were 99c for 3 plants/veggies or 5 herbs. Surely Aldi and Lidl do the cheaper ones there also?

Besides being in shoeboxes and in a cool, dark cupboard, like Spruce I don't keep them long.

Mine are all in there original packets if new and in small brown envelopes if they are garden collected, I keep them in a tupperware box in my wardrobe. The only time they see a fridge is if germination requires it. :)

Bought seeds - in their packets if not all used.
Picked seeds - in small paper seed packets if small seeds or paper bags if larger seeds or larger quantities.
Then into a cardboard box and in a sunny spot in the utility room, which is always dry and reasonably warm.

All in their original packets (or envelopes for collected seed), then in a tin box in our cold pantry. I put a few silica dessicant bags in the bottom of the tin to keep everything bone dry.

By the by, I hate seeds stored in little zip-lock plastic bags. A number of seed vendors provide them in those. The seeds get fully charged with static electricity and are both a nightmare to get out of the bags (and seed gets caught up on the "zip"), and it makes it harder to hand-sow between thumb-and-forefinger as the static charge persists. Much prefer the somewhat opaque bags made out of a material a bit like greaseproof paper.
