Sunny here this morning, until I'd planted out three new bare root shrubs I bought yesterday. Then, of course, as is the norm when I plant something, its rained all day since.

Where on earth is all this rain coming from? All the time it keeps on persisting here, someone must be going without somewhere....

      It's probably Shiney Jenny!

Cold and wet here again and it's not looking good for this coming week either. I need to dig! I have a whole lot of plants that are going to want their nice new bed soon. :gaah:

Horrible. Cold, wet and cloudy and according to forecast going to get worse. I need a dry day to get the moss I've killed raked out of the lawns but it doesn't look like I'll get one any time soon :cry3:

After a bitterly cold, damp weekend - yesterday's persistent rain just about washed all the snow away - it was frosty this morning but the sun is trying to come out now.

Been wet here most of the day, the odd rumble of thunder to be heard too. Outdoor temperature sensor says 6ºC, but I feel so cold I am starting to think its faulty! Thank goodness the heating is due on shortly

            Peculiar sort of day here.
Started off cold and very foggy, then by mid morning the fog cleared and we had two or three hours of glorious sunshine. With no wind, it felt quite warm (yes...warm, remember that?).
Clouded over at lunchtime, an hour or so of light but annoying rain just to make everything damp again, then a mostly cloudy afternoon without a breath of wind.

Grey skies and drizzle. The temperature was 5C today but it felt like half that.
