    All plants first feed 20th March
    Quarter strength seaweed extract + Quarter strength Ionic Green Myst Humic

      You know how taxonomy goes Armandii, they are all just synonyms.

      Just use Kristenus maximus for unambiguity :)

                Day 7 of my saved seed sowing and 19 of 25 seeds have germinated.

                These were seeds that were fermented for just 24 hours and then cleaned in a wire sieve before drying.

                  What's this fermenting idea then kevin? Is that when you collect the seed (last year) or do you do it just prior to sowing?

                  No John, this is the antidote to the often promoted notion that having collected seed you have to ferment them in a little water until a fungus grows on the surface or you have to vacate the parish - whatever is easiest - to obtain viable seed.

                  Big boy & his two Supersteak minders have been ejected from the warm growbox to the kitchen windowsill, which will hopefully slow them down a bit & give the weather time to catch up... when it stops snowing...
