Planting out and Sowing over Easter

    Pre empting questions about if its ok to sow or plant out.

    Simple test is to drop your trousers & sit your bare bum on the soil.

    If you don't notice anything then its fine, if you go AAAHH!!:yikes: then the soil is still too cold:)

                  I agree, if you are growing seed, soil temperatures are far too cold for germination.
                  But I've planted spuds and a few onion sets today.
                  Both in the dormant state.

                  Thinking being that once it warms up the incessant rain is likely to make planting impossible, if last year is anything to go by.;)

                            Michael Eavis gets about 100,000 people to poo on his land every year and get stoned at the same time, don't know about his soil but the music is pretty good :)
