I've potted on my first sowings of toms but because some varieties didn't germinate to the full I've made a second sowing with double the number of seeds I need. We shall see what happens:dunno:

I really need to prick out all the tom seedlings, they are quite leggy and getting them potted will be a job requiring patience and care. It will have to be done outdoors as there will be too much compost whizzing about to do it in the comfort of the lounge. Neither me nor those Toms would like it out there ATM. If it warms up this afternoon....I'll see,
            Jenny

I pricked out mine yesterday Jenny, it was a bit cold and windy but a lot easier than trying to do it indoors without making too much of a mess. I'm sure your seedlings won't mind it for a few minutes, it took me 15 minutes. I wish I'd taken a little bit more time because I discarded all the smaller seedlings I forget to keep a few spares as backup in case some fail

Potted all mine up individually and have decided to sow a few more Red Robins as I've fallen in love with them....:wub2:

As always mine have not shown their little heads, so back to the drawing board and start again. :cry3:

I might have a go at Red Robin next year, given how early Scrungee managed to get one. Did you grow them last year Jenny?

That's a shame landimad, how long ago did you sow them? Are they on a nice warm windowsill? There's still plenty of time for another batch :blue thumb:

No, only Maskotkas John. But I've been a googling and I like what I see. It's a stubby little easy to grow in a 5" pot type and it didn't go leggy when it germinated and is staying very compact,

If the majority of mine germinate, I am likely to be over-run with plants - wonder if I could post you a few?
