I was down at the bottom of my garden yesterday and noticed a lot of piles of pooh. At first I thought it was rabbits

but then I saw some more that was not in individual pellets and now suspect it's deer as I think a rabbit would find it pretty uncomfortable to pass this :rolleyespink:

I know I have at least one rabbit in one of my compost heaps which should be sorted when I dig the heap out. As that won't be for a little while I would have to get the ferret man in if the visible damage to the garden is being caused by rabbits.

I put up a deer fence at the bottom of my garden last year but may have to improve/extend it if it is deer. I think it may be deer getting over the fence by the compost heap because the heap comes almost 3ft up the side of the fence. I've added some bamboo canes to increas the height of the fence, just there, as a temporary measure.

    Thanks in advance. :blue thumb:

Have you been spying on me, Zigs? That's exactly where I've been finding the pooh! I had a very large stack of cut branches there from where I'd been pruning the fruit trees. When I started shifting the branches onto the bonfire last night I noticed a lot of them had the bark stripped off them!! So it must be deer - or llama.

Here's a deer dear little llama :heehee: I got friendly with the other year.
