    I notice Fuchsia 'george bartlett' was showing new leaf buds today.. the entire plant has survived too, without being cut down to ground level.. RHS recommends President George Bartlett should be overwintered under glass.. with a hardiness rating of H2.. well that's been well and truly rubbished!

      A little bit of cheer - Fuchsia 'Shauna Lindsay' has produced one flower on my kitchen windowsill, an exquisite little flower :)

        I am in the process of adding to my Fuchsia collection, but I am needing an explanation of terms, Lax, Bushy, Upright etc. I previously only bought ,Trailer or bushy, now the different definitions are getting me confused.:redface:

        Also i am looking for a good website for info ,but I have to trawl several and you need to know if hardy or another detail, which is what I am looking for !!!:dunno:

                Ive never managed to view them all jen,it would take hrs :) its handy if you just want to look for hardys etc but then if you like one you have to try and find a seller :gaah: x

                Here's another site Pam; http://www.otherfellow.co.uk/, not so much in the way of explanations of different types but plenty to look at (some unusual ones too) and good prices too as you're buying young plants/rooted cuttings :dbgrtmb:

                    I darnt order,i want the black night &mulberry jam salvia plus a few more :wub2: ive got a black&blue i purchased late last yr crammed in the gh ..no room at the inn at mo :frown:
