Seedling count as of this morning: 6 Better Boy, 6 Early Goliath, 6 Big Zac, 4 Delicious, 5 San Marzano, 11 Big Boy, 7 Gardeners Delight, 8 Harbinger and 5 Cherry type, varieties unknown, mixed packet of seed received as a freebie! Yesterday I sowed a few seeds saved from the monster Big Boy I grew last year, it'll be interesting to see if the seed is viable.

Today, I've sown a few Red Robin that Jenny sent me :ThankYou:

I'll grow them in pots indoors on a windowsill :)

I got fed up and sowed my outdoor plant seed yesterday in the propagator.
A few F1 Cossack, and F1 Incas, never grown either before so it will be a new one on me.

For a couple of years I have grown plants which I had bought, I've found they just dont grow that well, so gone back to sowing my own seed.

At this very early stage, the germination success rate seems to be around 90% :) - I'll try and get some photos and get them posted shortly :)

Potted on the 12 early plants that have been getting leggy on the windowsill & banished them to the greenhouse (heated to be frost free with a bit of luck). Best looking is probably Alacante but they are all strong - Roma has a crazy amount of root coming out the bottom of the pot.. I do enjoy growing a load of different types & seeing what the differences are.
