Not a Daffodil in sight yet and I have 100s. By what the weather is throwing at us atm (more snow) i reckon we'll be lucky to see ours before May!

Saturday mine decided to take a peek to see what was going on in the outside world. Wonderful to see and then found myself talking to them - telling them to wake up as spring has started at last and it's time they cheered my garden up.

:oopss: - I think I've lost the plot!

My Daffs are sporadic in growth. Those in light shadow or on the East side of the garden aren't as well advanced as those in the central borders and the West borders.

              Morning
I have had Daffodils in flower since December, they have come through in drips and drabs and will probably be going for at least another 4 weeks. They lasted well in the cold weather, but got hammered by the recent cold easterly winds.
Snowdrops also flowered for a long time this year but few seed pods due to the absence of insects especially bees.

:dancy:At last my 1st Daffodil has appeared, only another 500/600 odd to go! Some have only just broken through the grass so can see there will be a battle royal between me and husband re when he can cut the grass after they have finished flowering, I reckon about July!

I haven't got many compared to some but I'm happy to see the ones I've got flowering from the window. :)
