                I'd rather leave them be John....can't poison them incase my chooks get them and i just can't kill them full stop:rolleyespink:...so what am i moaning about?:doh:....Unless that is they go for my Big Zac or Early Goliath....:nonofinger: i swear there will be a riot round here:paladin:

                  Are there any obvious holes for them to get in? I blocked up one in my greenhouse last weekend, they had been getting in over winter, I don't think they had eaten anything, maybe just sheltering.

                    I'm going to have to have a good scout around John....i've sown more....sugar flash(i will keep calling them sugar snax:doh:)Kelvedon Wonder and chick Peas but moved them from my propagation bench to the other side....it's latted but i don't suppose the Mice will mind...i can tell you this though....they don't like chard or sweet corn.....yet....:thumbsup:

                    I did my grafting today, it didn't go smoothly, I accidentally chopped off the growing tip on my spare Delicious plant, so I'm down to one giant tomato plant now. Also I struggled getting the graft clips on, out of the nine grafts I'll be lucky if only half fail. This is the first one I made, Gardeners Delight onto Arnold F1 rootstock:

                      Penny in Ontario you have increased the list of varieties grown from 90 to 142 !

                      That is a lot of tomatoes, just wondering why you haven't gone for the most popular variety over here - Gardener's Delight?

                        Fascinating John...I'd love to have a go at grafting.....might just dare myself:thumbsup:
