ear cones

I just want to share my experience with some ear cones bought in a chinese herb/agopunture place for the amount of £ 20 for two packs of two cones which went down to £15after a few seconds without me even opening my mouth..I still think they were overpriced but anyway...experimented today on the girlies and all went amazingly well...they have a bit of a shape of a "jamaica joint" to make you understand. They are made of what looks like a waxed fabric with a little plastic filter at the small end. The way they work: you have to insert them in the ear holes, set fire to the top end and wait unti it burns down till about two inches from the end. the smoke created penetrates your ear giving you a tingling sensation and the wax melts and is "sucked" into the filter through tiny holes. It is quite a considerable flame so precaution has to be taken to hold the cone very straight and maybe put a wet cloth near the face. The most exciting part for me at least is to open the left over and see some wax there. It is probably a procedure to be undertaken only occassionally so not to interfere wit the natural way ears keep themselves clean.

 

I was very indecided whether to try them at first but then I really felt like I have discovered something good...
