Some birds seen in Morocco

    Not much time to photograph birds on the tour but here are few, there were very few Raptors about.
    European Bee Eater, hundreds around but this was the only one I could get close to. Looking up doesn't show all of it's colours.
    They are on migration from Central Africa to Spain Portugal and S France.

    A poor pic but taken from the 15th floor of our hotel in Casablanca,.
    Cattle Egrets roostng/nesting in a Date Palm in the centre of the city.

      Fantastic photos as expected ... and I just love the White Stork (they are becoming a nuisance here now ... :hapydancsmil: ) ... and I love the Cattle Egrets in the Date Palm ... they are also a nuisance here now ... :heehee:

      Nice pictures Strongy, they are all new to me, possibly with the exception of the kestrel and the stork, you dont see their margarine much these days.:biggrin:

      Hope you have now gotten over the "two bob bits".;)

        Alpine Swifts,an almost impossible shot to get with my camera flying at well over 100mph, much larger than our Common one which will arrive here mainly in May.
        Any seen here would have overshot their destination by a few hundred miles!

        The common Spotless Starling, glossy like ours but no spots, everywhere in Iberia and N Africa.

        Comfort stop (in the rain!) and a Crested Lark was wandering around infront of me.
