      Morning everyone,

Its sunny here!! Yesterday was gorgeous, and today is supposed to be as nice, so I'll be back outside working in the gardens, since tomorrow i am back down in Toronto.

Today is Brad's birthday, but we arent doing anything until the weekend, since it'll be Kaits's 23rd b-day. We are taking everyone out for dinner, so that'll be nice and no cooking!!

May pop in later, if not, enjoy your day everyone.

Been plant shopping this afternoon. Bought 15 mixed colours of the minature violas, they are beautiful. 10 red aubretia as well. Now all I want is some mixed trailing fuschias and some trailing ivy geraniums and perhaps some standard fuschias as well. Decided to go tomorrow morning. Have a good evening everyone. God bless.

          Hello everyone,

Just back with OH, all good news, no need to go again until October.

Having a cappuccino, then back to kitchen, unload the washing machine, and get that hung.

Might do a bit of repotting, before it's time to prepare for dinner, Haggis tonight. Yum

          Waves to all. :doggieshmooze:

              Aloha everyone,

What a wonderful morning it is. I hope everyone is enjoying this weather. I have changed the sheets on my beds and got first lot in the wash. One they are happily out on the line and drying I shall pop out to see if I can buy some fuschias and geraniums. My tomatoes are happily esconced in my plastic covered greenhouse. I have plenty of fleece if they should need cosying up come the cold weather expected this next weekend.
Have a lovely time in the garden everyone but please look out for those backs and stay safe. God bless.

              Aloha!:wub2:

                Morning everyone,

Its another sunny morning here, i am achy this morning, spent the better part of yesterday weeding, raking, pulling weeds, but the gardens are all done, thankfully!!

I am off to Toronto shortly, but i am going to get the spreader out and put down some weed and feed, since its supposed to rain tomorrow, i have some manure to spread in the veggie gardens, but I'll save that for a day when I'm not going anywhere.

                Have a great day.

Hello Folks been out and spent some pennies. I bought 6 trailing ivy geraniums I have potted up and put into my macrame slings round the gazebo. I bought a dozen trailing fuschias and 6 bush fuschias which I have planted in with the 10 red aubretia and 14 mixed miniature violas into the two troughs and watered them in. They look brilliant. I will let them settle and then will take some photo's of them once they have started to grow. Pleased with my efforts today but boy is it hot out there. Got all my sheets and washing dry too so am well pleased all round. Have a good afternoon all. Wont be around in the morning tomorrow because I am off to the eye clinic at the hospital early. Not sure what time the hospital transport is picking me up but with eye drops etc going in obviously I cannot drive myself. Catch up with you tomorrow afternoon. God bless.

                    Congrats Penny !!

A bit sore and tired today, did my 3 hours this morning, then went shopping when I got back, ate lunch, had a short snooze, then pruned a lot of overgrown Fuchsia plants, and made a lot of new cuttings.

Watered all my drooping plants in the conservatory, then proceeded to hoover throughout, put all my dry laundry away. Finally got to sit down about 20 minutes ago. Looking forward to my glass of Frascati, chilled.

Then looking forward to my bed later.

Hope my back does'nt let me down.

Good morning everyone and hope you are all feeling ok this fine sunny day:smile:

Sorry been a bit absent of late but it is that time of the year and we have got lots to catch up on now that the snow and rain has stopped so trying to get the ground prepared and veggies sown, plus tidying up the front and back gardens here so don't seem to have a lot of time for much else:snork:

We spent seven hours over at the lottie last Saturday and we paid for it with aches and pains all day Sunday, but we can't complain as we are more fortunate than a lot of souls are and take each day as it comes:smile:

We are away up to Shropshire to a wedding in a couple of weeks so getting everything sorted for that but Mr Kandy is glad that it means no more treking to the shops

Have a very enjoyable day and enjoy the sun as it is going to get colder again they reckon by the weekend:eeew:

                        Aloha everyone,

                        Penny, many congratulations :dbgrtmb:

Moyra, good luck at the hospital :blue thumb:

As there's not a sign of us getting any rain I'm going to need to keep moving the sprinkler around the garden as everything is bone dry. It has been in constant use for the last tow days and I still haven't finished doing the front garden. I should have that done by this afternoon and then it'll take about a week to get the back garden watered properly :phew:. The front garden is awkward because of cars in and out of the driveway all the time and the hose needing to go across it.

I'll work on the garden today and hope to get a lot done - OK, OK, I'll be careful about my back!! :heehee:

                        Have a great day

                        Aloha!
