    Planted out my veg,cut lawns,plenty of watering,alot of staring at stuff in the GH,really need to prick out some bedding plants:rolleyespink:
    Oooh and got sunburnt too:doh:...silly moo:biggrin:

      Finally finished the bosses garden today.
      After 2 wheelie bins and 3 trips to the tip with 1 ton rubble bags it finished :dancy:
      Looks loads better now and looks like someone owns it ;)
      All done in my lunch hour over 2 weeks.
      He's back from Cyprus in a few days from a 3 week holiday.
      He should notice the difference :)
      He also said that when he had the garden done he ask for low maintenance,
      I said YES Low maintenance not NO Maintenance :snork:

        Loli, join me out in the greenhouse tomorrow pricking out those little blighters. It's raining here supposedly, so nothing will be done outside.

        Spent another 1 1/2 hours digging today and then moved the last of the seedlings to the greenhouse, with the exception of the toms and red peppers. The temperature is dropping here until the weekend so wasn't going to risk them. I've also washed pots and trays that have been used, I don't want a whole load to do at the end of the growing season. :)

          I had to wait indoors until 1pm today for a courier to arrive and then I shot down to Nantwich to get 24 Alpines and Succulents from a Market Gardener friend for my Cottage sinks and two large shallow pots. I planted up the two Cottage sinks before I realised that I hadn't got enough gravel to dress the surface of both of them:gaah: So I drove to the Tarpoley Plant Nursery just before they closed and got a bag of gravel, unfortunately not the same kind [darker] than the stuff I used for the pots and the first Cottage sink, but I'll keep a look out for light coloured gravel and renew the gravel for the second sink. I had to move the second sink [empty] a couple of feet to the right as it was right under one of the Bird Feeders and although they have large saucers fixed to the base seed still drops onto the sink. It was nearly 7pm by the time I'd finished but they [sinks and pots] don't look too bad. I'll post some pics of them tomorrow.:coffee:

            Washed and dressed the kids
            Fed the kids brekkie
            Did a days work
            Came home then:-
            Watered and fed all the plants.
            Planted cosmos seeds in my planters.
            Painted the fence on the driveway black, and painted the gravel boards and posts cream.
            Made dinner
            Fed the kids
            Fed the mrs
            Made mrs friends a cuppa
            Fed myself
            Washed the dishesy
            Cleaned the kitchen
            Brushed the driveway
            Brought the bin in
            Made some supper
            Cleaned my teef
            In bed now looking at water features and posting here

                Finally planted up 5 of the Zinc planters (bought earlier this year in the sale) and sited them by the pond. Slept on that image and now I've decided I don't like them there but can't decide where else to put them :heehee:

                Found some grape hyacinths which were mixed in with some daffs a friend gave me last year. Shamefully, I hadn't dug them in but they were happily blooming away. So, I gently lifted some of the hyacinths and rehomed them nearer to the back door - this time with soil! :heehee:

                  I planted 6 Clematis in different spots, two Irises into the main lawn border, a Dicentra Alba into the Bog Garden, an Echinacea in the lawn border, an Inula into the walk around border, and an Astrantia into the West Border, two Fuchsias into large pots, and 6 alpines along the center path. I still wasn't liking the dull colour of the gravel on the second Cottage sink so I went to B&Q in Northwich to get two bags of lighter coloured gravel and then I redressed the top of the sink........much better!!:hapydancsmil:

                          Yep, it's surprising how coming across a pot planted up like that will add to the pleasure of a garden or, as al says, they're good for garden tables, placing on a seat, or in a position at shoulder height.
