Here's the finished gates. I love them to bits. A brilliant job done by the other half, I'm very proud of him.

Old shed went at the weekend, along with the porthole.

New shed arrived yesterday and spent most of today putting it up, although it's still missing it's door and a few other bits to finish it, as these need alterations.

Looks much better and bigger than the old one all ready

Have been busy painting the shed the past week or so. Then today I dug up all the neglected lawn in front of it in the blazing sun. I must have dug out well over 50 dandelions today and one tap root was nearly as thick as my arm!

I'm now very tired as a result and look as pink as an uncooked sausage.

Some more work done on the garden. After removing the turf and giving it a good digging over I planted a few things in it. Mostly Foxgloves, some Lemon Balm, a leggy Hypericum and some Cat Mint.I then sowed some seeds onto the area as well, mostly wildflowers and some poached egg plants. The aim is to give this border over to the bees.

Here's some more pictures taken last Sunday.

Also painted the garage wall, to brighten it up a bit.

This bed that runs along the fence I planted a Ceanothus in it, although have since swapped it with a larger one I planted further up the garden. I'm still looking for a few more bee friendly plants to put in it, but haven't worked out what yet. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
