    I have got this stuff comming out of my ears[As always over the top with seeds]........ and i dont know what to do with it,Could i have some ideas on how to use this with food please.

    It is great as a salad leaf. Nice with goats cheese and red onions. Or on risotto, or in sandwiches.

    Sorry for digging out such an old thread, but I thought I might as well, rather than creating a new one! :)

    I have a question regarding rocket. I have just purchased some wild variety and am about to sow, but do you really have to space it 25cm by 25cm? It seems quite a lot for a little plant like this. I always thought leaves like this would grow fine close together, but then hey, I dont really have a lot of knowledge/experience in gardening. Any advice much appreciated! :)

    I don't space mine Peorthine...just grow it in a drill....it doesn't get chance to get very big as it's usually digested well before then....:biggrin:

      I once sprinkled a few seeds on a spare patch of ground in my herb bed. I spent the next couple of years weeding rocket out.

        That means you'll have to harvest it within 6 weeks of sowing it once the weather warms up.

          The wild one that grows on the beach has got a root that tastes like Radish.
