Homebase - 20% off this weekend

Just to give you all heads up, Homebase have 20% off all garden stuff (on top of all other offers) this weekend; I've just priced up some compost as I am going to need a bit, and three 120L bales comes to just shy of £18 (around 20p per litre). Guess where I am going?

 

The cost of the diesel to get to my nearest B&Q would outweigh the 25p saving on 120L - sadly, I only have the choice between Wickes, Homebase or a couple of garden centres.

I'm just back from Homebase with 9 x 120L MPC+, some more nasturtium seeds and some shady grass seed - all in £65, so not bad.

However, I have no sooner offloaded the car and opened the greenhouse, and its started p-p-p-persisting down. So, mug of tea and some contemplation before I head off out to work in the greenhouse for a while.
