Shiney is the grass in picture 5 Bowles golden grass? its lovely, I bought what I thought was this grass but turns out its Carex 'Aurea' said golden grass on label, if I'd looked more closely I'd have seen the proper name on the back but just spotted it at a flower show and thought it was the same plant but after googling pretty sure its not, silly me :heehee:, does yours seed around or have you split it ?

Yes, it's Bowles golden grass. :blue thumb: We've never needed to split it as it seeds very easily. PM me your address and we'll send you a plant. Mrs Shiney is pretty sure she's got some lying around somewhere. :)

It's also dotted around in picture 6 but that area is under tree cover so it's nowhere near as advanced as in picture 5.

I've just tried splitting some Bowles Golden grass which is in the pond....no chance. It's been in the margins for around 20 years and the roots are like concrete!:dunno::snork:

If Mrs Shiney finds them, apart from what she may have potted on in the sales area, I'll put one aside for you for when you come down. :blue thumb:
