    Hi Yvonne

I would add a batten in the middle as well plus as you have already done all four corners easily fixed and easily hidden , still looking good

My big mess up was treating the greenhouse for red spider mite and white fly with a can that you lit which did work the smell was dreadful , following day I put all the plants back in and killed most of them as I hadnt aired it enough I think the problem was the greenhouse is cedar which absorbed a lot of the chemical , and another one of mine is not labeling plants then forget what in the pot !

That looks to me like it's twisted away completely from the rest of the bed. If so, then there's not that can be done to save that piece. Buy a new bit and install it. Attach some plates on the front if you can't install a batten round the back. Don't screw into the end of the wood as this won't hold it at all.

My worst disaster is probably that I killed an apple tree that was bought for me as an anniversary present a few years back by over mulching it.

Not to mention the 10 tons of rubble I had to dig out of the garden in order to get to the soil. That's more of a nightmare than a disaster though as I got through it.

Not allowing trees and shrubs enough space to grow is my biggest mistake, and still do it :wallbanging:, the worst is my beautiful Cedrus Deodora now over 15ft tall(and growing fast) far too near a hedge and before long it'll have to come out :cry3: just can't bring myself to do it, think pruning would just spoil the shape.
Same thing happened to my Dads garden Al, new owners dug the whole lot up and paved it!!!!, luckily family members took divisions from lots of his plants so some still live on :)

I reckon its twisted too - however, I wouldn't be taking the soil and plants out to sort it fully until the end of the season; meantime, I would be tempted to use two or three of these fellows strapped around the corner to pull it into place (or as near as makes not a lot of difference) - if you get someone to push the board in whilst you screw these into place it should hold without splitting as the bracket will distribute the tension.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I have tried to push it back in place but the weight of the soil is too heavy. I concerned that replacing the plank will be a massive job because the other end is fixed on the inside by the brackets you linked to FC and they are now submerged in soil. I have the landscapers coming round to do the pre inspection tomorrow so I'll ask these two strapping lads if they can push it back in place whilst I temporarily fix it. Sigh... At least I learnt a lesson before I build the next one which will be bolted together!!

It looks to me as though the damp has gotten to it, and warped the board (made worse by the weight of soil) - next time round it would probably be worth lining the sides with plastic sheeting (old compost bags stapled on on the inside should do the trick)

I only finished building and filling them 2 weeks ago,I thinks it's more likely to be my shoddy wood work skills, not putting battens in half way down the length and expecting two screws to hold all that weight.

Possibly. How established are the plants then? If they are only a couple of weeks in, it might be worth emptying at least the front half and putting a batten on?

Onion sets at the front and broad beans at the back, trained up the trellis. I think I'll wait until I have harvested all of those and then tackle it in a couple of months.

Muddling up my tomato plant labels and ending up with cordon tomatoes in first floor window boxes.

I think it's brilliant that you've had a go to do it yourself Yvonne. Ten out of ten for effort....it will be ok until you can sort it. You never know, those two strapping lads may help and it could be fixed tomorrow.
