For Sale: Stunning house in rural Cambridgeshire

Well it's been beautiful weather lately - but alas! No viewings!
Good news is though the property they want is still for sale it seems.

Counting down the days now really until current E.A's are finished and the new one starts with fresh professional photo's etc.etc.

Hooray! Viewing this weekend! Sounds promising..
Looking for 4 bedrooms, character property, with large garden and lots of outbuildings.
I think we tick all boxes there! And the Wisteria is about to come out.. Just in time!

Spoke to a local estate agent about our place today, explained that the internet agent just wasn't performing, he said I may have noticed a house in the next village that they had taken over from an internet agent and sold. I cut him short by saying Chopper's place?

He said, you know him then? I said, yes, he's a Gardeners Corner Member

 

Chopper has sold up? :( All that lovely work he and Mrs Chopper put into the tunnels ...

Just an update if anyone wants it.

They came, they saw, they loved. But they have only just put their house on the market, but have already had two viewings and it is a house for sale in the middle of the city - apparently it should sell fast.

However, we should have another viewing coming up by our Estate Agents-to-be, who have just sold the viewers own home. So fingers crossed, as one that can make an offer and buy now would be great!

Things are looking up, and both the original future home and the possible cheap do-er-upper are still available on the market too

Great news Elizabeth. It sometimes has to go wrong to go right and I'm sure it will all work out for the best.

My younger daughter has just started house hunting (to buy) with her other half but it's a whole different ball game for them, they emigrated to Canada two years ago and things work differently there.

 

Well, had an offer today but same offer as the last people (who mucked us around).
Fingers crossed they are just testing the water, and will come back with a more appropriate offer
