Normally in high pressure scenarios it would be wise to issue a little worry, because at this time of year in rural areas frost can occur under slack pressure scenarios. However under low pressure with higher moisture content in the lower atmosphere, it's more unlikely that air frost will occur, in most places. There are exceptions, ie valleys, and some of the most sheltered areas, also those flat sandy areas inland. This next week, in most populated areas, now lower than 2-3C, in outlying areas, you'll be rather unlucky to see -1C

Neither however are we heading into a warm up, although it may get a little warmer than it is currently... not exactly difficult.

I would say we could have some heavy rain at times (even snow on hills tonight), but it's not going to be the washout year it was last year.. however keep an eye of temperatures, they could continue to be notably cold for a while yet.
