Thanks, simbad:snork: . There's still a mass of summer bulbs and herbaceous perennials to show but the garden really does run itself now and I just sit there, drinking my mug of tea and watch it grow.:coffee:

        Hi Armandii

Thanks, GA and Shiney:thumbsup::snork: , that's kind of strange and nice that I should be attracted to that Tulip as my wife's name was Shirley.:snork: I shall buy a few more I think to make a clump of them in the main border by the stone seat where I sometimes sit with a mug of tea:snork:

The Aquilegia is a stunner and lasts for a long time...:)

Yep, Aquilegia [Grannies Bonnet:heehee:] is a cracking plant. I sometimes have to cull it a bit as it will spread like mad and the cross pollination will produce all sorts of colour combinations.:snork:

I was thinking that too Armandii, a pretty tulip, a good choice. :)

Just a reminder, in the past you've said you don't believe or don't have a talent for 'other worldly things'. Now tell me there's not a bit of ESP going on in that mind of yours. :)

My trouble is, Sheal, that my mother christen me with a middle name of Thomas so being full of doubt, I don't believe............but that doesn't prevent me from hoping I'm wrong.:dunno::snork:

I've just looked on the Net and found where I can buy the Tulip so I'm going to put in an order for around 100 and see what they look like next year.:snork:

You can always change your middle name. I hate my middle name, I cringe every time it's spoken out loud.

100!!! I think it's time you started on a roof garden Armandii. :heehee:

Well, the good thing about bulbs is that you can put them in and then plant over the top of them with herbaceous perennials so by the time they're over and done with the HP's are taking over. It seems to work in my borders and it actually means less work believe it or not!:snork:

It's a very long while before I get to that stage, if at all. I wish I could tow my garden over to you and let you loose on it.
