Alright, Stephen my dear meteorologist friend ... you have warned Lorea ... what is happening down here?

Our highs are now 18c and lows 10c whereas last week we were at least 10 degrees higher day and night ... AND we have had sudden torrential rain which was not forecast night and day ... very welcome I may add as the red clay ground needed it desperately.

    Will write/speak soon. xx

48.2F, not breeze and still no rain! I'm still having to move the sprinkler around, not only to water the plants but to make the ground soft enough to get the weeds out. I think I'm winning - for the moment.

No rain so far, but it started off grey and cold and has stayed that way. The temperature is 48f but again it feels cooler than that. What's bothering me is the amount of cloud we getting as that's what was the main villain denying us the Sun over the last, at least, two Summers:gaah::snork:

Pete, we're lucky here on the island if we get that temperature in summer. :)

What a dismal day! It rained heavily until mid afternoon and then remained grey and misty until dark, 10C.

Dismal is the word Sheal! We've had practically constant rain since Friday, with a few hail showers to break the monotony. It's bloody cold, we've had the fire going....again and the "experts" don't seem to know when it's going to end - thanks for the explanation Stephen (and the advice! ;-) ).
My beans are going to be up to the roof by the time I can plant them out!!!
The Spanish have a saying: "to the bad weather, good face."
My good face is becoming decidedly worn!
