          Aloha everyone,

We're still working hard on getting things ready for the weekend. I would like to mow all the lawns today so it won't be too hard when I have to do them again later in the week. The same goes for trimming the edges. I'm still working on digging out the strawberry weed, bindweed and buttercups in the wild part of the veggie area but I'm not sure I'll get it all done. We want to spread more of the seeds we acquired from the plants at the Olympic Park. None have come up yet (only sprinkled some a couple of weeks ago).

We're still putting in plants where we lost so many over the winter. These plants would have been for sale but there are plenty of others. Mrs Shiney is gradually working her way through all the plants in the car port (they covered the whole area), tidying them up, repotting where necessary, labelling, and moving over towards where we shall have the plant sale tables. The tables don't arrive until Friday.

The tedious job on Friday afternoon will be making all the sandwiches for the helpers and the GC members. It's not as enjoyable as gardening :heehee:.

Time for breakfast and then some weeding before going to the chiropodist for my regular appointment. I've got to, also, prepare my chairman's report for an AGM on Wednesday night.

          Have a great day

          Aloha!

              Aloha everyone,

For some reason I was signed out again, No good me looking after the cookies if they don't work. Shiney hope you manage to get it all done. Looking forward to Saturday. If necessary Shiney will it be ok to fetch Amber as Steve may be working and I cannot leave her too long at a time or I will have to cut short my visit. Which I would prefer not to do.

I have my renal Clinic appointment early Wednesday morning I shall ask him if it is my kidneys causing my chronic back ache at the moment although I do not think so as it is more lumbar region. Good to see you WOO, take care everyone, God bless and have a good day all.

              Aloha!:wub2: 235990.gif

                Good morning everyone,

It's very mild here this morning..not even the slightest chill in the air:dbgrtmb:
Just been to have a word with the chooks as they were being rather vocal....turns out Daisy has just layed and Violet was fed up of her telling everyone about it....so those two have had a bit of a fall out:chicken:

I've been listening to music :dancy:...instead of getting on:rolleyespink: so there's only one thing for it....
Turn it off and get myself moving

                Have a great day everyone,Take care:SUNsmile:

Moyra, there's no problem in bringing Amber :blue thumb:. It's about time we met! :) Just remember to bring your little baggies as we don't have any . Dogs used to be banned because Oscar wouldn't allow them into Shineyland. He was very strict about that!!

Oh yes wherever Amber goes her little baggies go, not a problem we can take it home with us. She is a good girl. She said hello to a little 4 month old German Shepherd x Rottweiller this morning on her walks. I will see if there is somewhere on the way where I can walk her and let her do her business elsewhere which would be preferable.

                          Hello everyone,

Thought I would poke my head around the door.

Have had a few days not doing much on the computer, trying to catch up with jobs around the house.

Busy with my little job in the morning, had to get her up early today, so she could go for her hospital appointment this morning.

Mouth still giving me problems, cannot wait for the 15th of June, so that they can have another look.

Hope you are all ok, will try to keep my hand in.

                          God bless.xx:doggieshmooze:

They'd love it, but you'd never find them unless they wanted to be found. :heehee: I'm always finding pheasants flying out of the borders or undergrowth just in front of me and squawking their heads off :snork:

Good morning everyone and hope you are all ok.

Sorry have been awol but have been getting all the things caught up with from our break away and then had to clean out the caravan ready for it's service so had to take it to the caravan shop last saturday and should be able to pick it up this weekend and then we have to load all the stuff back in to it which is going to take some time.:snork:

Last weekend Mr Kandy put up all the runner bean canes and planted out the plants i had grown while i weeded the onions, shallots and broad beans.

Had to rush Willow to the vets last Thursday as his breathing problem had got worse so the vet has told us to give him his Prednicare tablets every day instead of every other day,oh and he has lost a 1lb in weight through the stress of going in the cattery the other week and the vet said to make an appointment to take him back this week to be weighed and they might have to give him another med to help his airways. We left him lying in the sun on Sunday but when we got back home he was missing and didn't come back until 7.30 that evening so we were tearing our hair out, wondering where he was when he strolled back indoors. He won't eat any wet food, just licks the gravy off of it but woolfs down his goody bag crunchies so is getting some food.He spent the night on the end of our bed and woke us up several times in the night when his breathing got quiet noisy, yet this morning he sounds better. We don't think he has got much longer with us and we are considering cancelling all holidays until after he has gone as i think the next bout of the cattery will finish him off:eeew: Poppy is doing well on her meds for her thyroid problem and has put on a lot of weight and still flies round the garden trying to catch the insects:snork:

Apart from the usual aches and pains we are ok but would like some more sun now as we are getting fed up with this cold damp weather.:snork:

                            Have a good day everyone:smile:
