NOTE TO ALL:- For those of you bringing plants to swap/sell.

If your plants are too many or too awkward for carrying from where you may be able to park, drive into to the driveway (reserved for Blue Badge holders), unload and then park. You can put them by the person who will be taking the entrance money whilst you park the car.

It may be better to, then, take the plants for swapping (or possible swapping) away from the main part of the garden and put them by the stacked butler sinks near the trunk of the willow tree (you won't miss it :) ). The alternative is to commandeer a table for GC members and put your plants there. :blue thumb: As I don't know how many plants you may be swapping, I don't know which is the better proposition.

I've had a think and I've got 3 hosta plants to swap. Am thinking of digging out a Elaeagnus "Gilt Edge" from the front garden as I don't like it, there maybe others that I may dig out as I'm looking to "redo" the front garden bed. Can I bring plants that I've dug out of the ground?

Also how will everyone know other GC members? Surely most of us just blend into the crowd?

        Good question :blue thumb:

You could look for Zigs. I think everyone on GC knows his face! :heehee:

Or you could look for me.

Of course, if you arrived wearing your mask we would all be able to spot you :dbgrtmb:

I can't remember whether I gave you directions to Shineyland . If I didn't, then please PM me. Will you be coming to the Indian with us in the evening? I need numbers for the restaurant :)

Gosh, you've been out in the sun a lot, Shiney. Who's the bloke in the glasses?

There's a rumour that I might be seen in the area, accompanied by the BF who knows nothing about plants but enjoys a nice garden and can be relied upon to be polite.

I'll try and find a few spare plants, God knows, the place is sagging under the weight of plants, it should be possible. I've got some leek seedlings if Kristen still wants them.

Dunno! But he was a bit on the heavy side for lugging around the streets!

          He sounds well trained.

Do you need the address? :)

          Will PM you shortly :dbgrtmb:

I really do need to change my avatar so it's actually a picture of me as people think the current one is me. Other half will be coming along and he sticks out more than me as my dad once called him a "lanky buddy holly"

Never known a GC member blend into the crowd:snork:

We could print off & make badgers badges out of the GC Card & then scribble our names in crayon over the top.

                  I've also got

                  2x Hydrangea quercifolia
                  Sundry phygelius
                  Variegated ivy
                  Common sage
3x Balm of Gilea ( Cedronella canariensis) Deliciously balm scented foliage plant
a buddleia, probably a very dark one.

I'd love a cyperus papyrus if there was a spare.
