Same here. only mine are the dwarf varigated one.

As far as I am aware, most iris are as tough as old boots,so I don't think there is anything to worry about!

    Cheers!

No problems - perfectly normal to see new shoots on Iris at the moment, both dwarf and standard varieties. Agree with Makka-Bakka tough as old boots in this part of the world.

I've just gone to look at my Bearded Irises and mine are showing any shoots yet even though I live in a "mild" area so you're doing better than me!

Where are you Scooby-mas? This could make a difference to flowering times. It would be appreciated if you could put your area under your avatar please, it helps other members when trying to solve problems like this. :)

Assuming they are dwarf Iris I reckon you'll see buds in a week or so. :)

After they've flowered, scooby-mas, it might be worth digging them up, dividing the rhizomes and re-planting them in nice, fluffed-up soil with a bit of general purpose fertiliser. The leaves should be cut in half to help them re-establish. They respond really well to this once every three or four years (two or three on sandy soil):)
