    Mowed the lawn.
Planted 1 beefsteak Tom and 1 money maker into large pots in the GH.
Another 6 to do later in the week.
Planted a miscanthus in the border near the fence
Potted up the little un sunflowers again. (At least there growing fast!)
Fetched 250l of compost ready for planting out the bedding either weekend or next week.

Had a really hard day out in the garden today as I had some guests who wanted to have a tour around the garden and then, when they'd gone, I sat by the pond with a large glass of the red stuff:snork:

It's winter in my garden today so I've not done a thing. Yes I did! I spent two minutes watering a newly seeded patch of lawn, 2 x 4ft. :)

It's persisting down here and blowing a hoolie, but forced myself to plant a hosta I just picked up from Morrisons for £2.50.!

I've mowed two lawns, started trimming the edges, erected a marquee, done some weeding and started planting some plants to replace the thousand or more Aquilegias we lost due to the heavy winter

This was the worst hit bed.

This time last year it was full of aquilegias and now they have all gone!!! :cry3:

Had a couple of hours spare between bottle feeds and nappy changes this afternoon. So prepared and planted brassica bed cabbage and cauliflower , need to harden of broccoli before it goes in. Did some weeding and planted another buddelia buzz in the border. Moved the obelisk I made last year to make way for new fence which opened up some space do I planted the comfrey that Jungle Jane sent me last year (thank you JJ) it has been in pots as I didn't know where to put it. Then hail and rain storm stopped play.

I had a little play for an hour, and made this. (sadly not my idea, I just copied it.)

I've moved all my hardened off plants back into the greenhouse, it's been 'blowing' for 36 hours and building up for a force 8 overnight tonight, very cold too. The young plants were struggling and I think my Petunias are done for, but I'll see how they look tomorrow.

I can't believe I've had to water the beds today. We've had very little rain in the last month.

Nothing in the garden, but went to the garden centre that is run to help people with learning difficulties and bought 2 hardy fuschias and 3 dianthus for £5:63. My wife is out seeing friends tomorrow morning with the kids, the weather forecast is good so I'm hoping to spend the morning in the garden.
