I've recently acquired a few Sempervivum from boot sales and village plant sales. None have an id so I was hoping to get a little help.

I'm pretty sure that the first is S.arachnoides, although I'm happy to stand corrected...............

The next two are fairly similar, but deffo different!

Ooh a difficult one as a lot are very similar..
#1. Could also be Ali Baba
#2. Could be a Cabarium or perhaps Gay Jester...
#3. Wonder if that could be an Echeveria
    #4. I think is a Jovibarba roller
    #5. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

    See what others think...

I've got a few sedums but I dont know the variety of any of them.
One thing I do find is they grow totally different outside, in hard conditions to how they grow in pots, often with frost protection.
So one that looks large and leafy, becomes very small and compact when actually grown properly.

Thanks Marley! Gives me a starting point to work from.

For the time being (till next late spring probably) they'll be in pots as the area that I have earmarked for them is riddled with a dwarf Bamboo.

I agree. We had some at the other place simply to provide some privacy, but it still got past the barrier. Evil stuff!
