Bigger Fines and Points on Licence

I wouldn't like listening to that, the neddle keeps jumping when you hit pole holes

 

It gets worse - apparently the police saw Jenny Namaste knitting whilst driving to Shiney's open day, drew up beside her, wound down their window and shouted "pullover" to which she replied "no, it's a hat for Zigs" and carried on driving.

 

Which is no mean feat for the Police because she is a "fast lane" hogger

 

One rule I find really unfair
If I get fined and points I have no option other than to accept it
Now IF there are enough points, I lose my licence, which means I lose my employment, which means I lose my house
In the next county, they have the option of either points or pay for a four day bad drivers course, at the local police station, to be done within one month

Now there is a big difference between Loss of everything, and a £180 course at the nick

If they try to fine me for lighting a cigarette at the wheel i'll contest it.

Been smoking & driving ever since I passed my test, never had an accident. They'll be fining us for changing gear & opening the window next.

I am referring to speeding/mobile phoning fixed penalties
I understand you can elect to take it to court, but that is to contest the reason
and usually you end up paying even more

The law as I understood it was for everyone in the country £60 and 3 points
The other County offers the exchange Thus no points on the licence, saving
a massive amount and change of life
