Not sure there is anything you can do / settings that you can set that will make a difference ...

The only thing I have come across that definitely did not work for me went something like this:

Press REPLY, create a post, upload some photos, embed them in the post, etc etc etc - all as normal.

Then INSTEAD of posting that cut & paste to another reply window. It goes across as "[attachment 1234]" or something like that ... but then does not actually work once the post is posted. (That's fair enough, but may catch some people out ...). Dunno if it is likely that you did that?

Only other thing I can think of is that the images breached some Size policy? (and instead of telling you it just binned them?)

I think some folk have had trouble "reusing" images from Albums (as distinct from images uploaded directly into Reply messages)

If any of those sound like what you did speak up and we can try and see if we get same results, and then we have something "repeatable" which will make it much easier for Admin/RR to Find&Fix

Ah ... now that I see that:

Why has it given you a link to the Dot Net domain name? That is used when the site was in transition to a new host. Maybe this is an "old" attachment from back then?

If not then I think a bug that it is adding the image link using Dot Net rather than Dot Co Dot UK.

    Thanks!

So it is the images that I add using a URL that is the fault, they are fine if I upload them direct to the post.

I can forward that info on, but in future I'll just have to upload to every post.

Where are you getting the URL from ?

For some reason you are using a URL which has the domain ".NET" in it. That domain IS used on this site at times, but not "normally".

If you click this (which is the one from the broken image link):

    http://gardenerscorner.NET/forum/attachments/dsc_0455-jpg.18246/

its bust. However, if I just edit that and change ".NET" to ".CO.UK" it will work just fine:

Right click image and select "Copy image URL". The images were uploaded on another post that I did earlier this afternoon.

Weird - both worked for me! I'm using Chrome.

Just tried Firefox - worked ok there too. I deleted IE when I downloaded the other two!

Yes they do set seeds easily. I have to keep a close eye on them and dead head as much as I can.

The blueish one is certainly one of my favourites - it just looks so delicate.
