Great choice :dbgrtmb: , do not expect massive plants , many peoples have complained about the size of the plants , it`s a sale so you many get some small plants.
ordered myself , hope they will come asap .....will be off in 3 weeks

Just seen this on his Facebook page

          WOW you people certainly like a bargain! The response to our sale has been amazing, thank you all very much. :}
The FREE delivery part of the offer runs out MIDNIGHT 31st december so be quick.
For those that have ordered the more tender plants we will wait until better weather in spring before shipping out as its best for the plants, so we'll hold the whole order unless asked otherwise.
I'd also like to take this oppertunity to thank all customers and friends, both old and new for their custom this year, and lets hope for a prosperous and Happy new year in 2013,
          Best regards,
          Simon.

So looks like ill be getting mine in the spring then ( saves me looking after them )

So I've chose some gingers instead Assam orange and cautleya spicata robusta.
Just Awaiting a reply from him now!

For the last few years they have had a 50% sale in late Autumn ... so if you are not in a hurry you might wait for that this year ... assuming that they do the same again this year :)

If you are going there (rather than an internet-visit :) ) then Urban Jungle is only just down the road ... as is Will Giles garden (open on Sunday afternoons)

Must say, that I will NEVER get anything from Amulree again.
I bought a load of stuff from them in their autumn sale last year.Must have spent £300 and got it half price.

Mainly ginger family, palms, aroids, and a few other bits and pieces. All hardy.
I must have lost half of it. Kept all the plants in my garage with the aim of planting out this spring summer. None of the Aroids and gingers came up. A few of the palms seedlings also haven't made it. And some of the other stuff too

                    Really disappointed with it.

I find they normally need bottom heat to kick start them

I've found the plants from Amulree variable, and have always gone to the nursery to collect so I can choose my plants. However, Simon has a reputation for being very approachable, so worth discussing with him as he may replace your losses.

                    Update

                    Received a email today
                    Hi Sean,
sorry for the delay, the courier refused to take your trachycarpus as too heavy, which it is as its in a huge pot, but I have another truck due in thurs/fri this coming week in much smaller manageable pots so I'll ship out then for you,
                    Thank you for your patience
                    Regards
                    Simon

How big is the palm :hate-shocked:
