I was going to knock them out the pots and compost them, but the roots look like they are healthy - fingers crossed.

How do? Had another bloom this morning on a Brugmansia called Stellatta, which is a Alice Harris Aurea hybrid. It's a single white, small, around 8 inches with a short snout of a flower.

Here's a couple of pictures showing her form. I'll be out for a sniff later to see what the scent is:thumbsup: stellatta.jpg HPIM5060.jpg

Wayne My cuttings arrived this morning :dancy: :ThankYou:

I'd normally pot them up 50:50 multi purpose and perlite and stick a clear plastic bag over them, and put them out of direct sun, and use some Clonex rooting hormone. Does that sound all right?

I also read of putting them in a glass of water until "root nodules" form, but I'm always nervous about just stuffing plant material in water.

        K, They arrived , good O!
I got the Grand Marnier started for you.. Luckily at this time of the year either putting them in a pot or the water dunking method seem to work. For me , I like to see the roots, but that's me , I like to be entertained:heehee:

        Happy Brugging!!

I'm pretty sure I have RSM on mine. I can't see the actual RSM, but I can see a couple of small webs. Has your 'Dynamec' turned up pete ?

        Turned up today Freddy.
Its in a small plastic bottle with no instructions, could be anything.

I trust it is OK, we shall see.

I guess if they dont tell you anything, they cant be blamed should it fall into the wrong hands.

PS, I have a small x10 magnification hand lens I use to make sure I'm dealing with RSM.

I suspect that's because it is a chemical that requires a license to use, and they are just decanting it and marking it up ... best to take proper precautions when you use it :)

The bottle doesn't even say what is in it.
          just looks like water.

          Hiya Pete.

I suspect it's probably as Kristen says, it's been decanted into smaller bottles. Does it not even have a label? I don't have a magnifying glass, but I do have a microscope. Would the whole leaf be infested? If so, I reckon they would be easy to see under a 'scope'.

Yep, I'm just wondering how much 250ml costs to buy?

          I bet its not £250.

No copy of instructions, not even a note saying what it is, or who sent it.

Freddy, I guess they would show up under a microscope but maybe you would be looking at too small an area to catch an adult, but the eggs might be visible, I think they are white.
But fine webbing on the leaf underside is usually a good enough sign for me, especially if the leaf is a bit mottled yellow between the veins.
