Well... move it in the shade where the fatsia belong to and you will see the difference at the end of summer , the fatsia in a sunny position will may survive , but not live happy ...:dbgrtmb:

Mines quite happy in full sun, but as Sal says, if your plant is not used to full sun it will burn easily, so a gradual move into full sun is required.

Be honest , we should have asked if it`s potted or in the soil ,
      Fatsia it`s a shady plant ,
but like Pete say can actually grow in a full sun position if moved gradualy , with the ammount of sunny day we usually get it not a problem , but as we are doing pretty well , even cactus are showing sign of sunburn at the moment .

I have quite a few fatsia, either full sun or shade, all doing great. Even the variagated ones in full sun are going great guns. Like anything, if they are used to it then fine.

Agreed! But, to be even more honest ...
... what variety of fatsia do you have?

I did a google on your problem and I noticed that some fatsias are indeed silver - or, at least, have silver threads running through them = variety rather than any specific problems.

Is it possible that, even though you have a few of them, the ones 'affected' are simply a different variety? :dunno:
