    Jeez GA ,you could get a bit closer but as far as I can see from this side of the fence they are;
    1 I can't, err maybe pyracantha.
    2 stock
    3 Forsythia spp
    4 Leycesteria formosa
    5 Kerria japonica
    6 Bay, Laurus nobilis

    close up s would be helpful to confirm them.

    c) Are Primulas, with what looks like a sycamore seedling lurking amongst them.

      As JWK said, Primulas. Weeds around here - there were hundreds when I moved in and they're self seeding like mad since I dug the garden over.

      Get that sycamore seedling out PDQ! But keep the primulas, they're nice.
