    Gaz,
    Here is my Schefflera rhododendrifolia.

Came through the winter ok, but there are marks on some of the leaves.

wardleykenya - a very warm welcome to the forum. I have been away for a bit and am catching up and have only just seen your post. Your Oxera is fabulous. I do hope you will show us some more plants from Kenya. But be careful when you say far to tender for the UK :snork: . That's taken as a challenge by many of the people in this tropical part of the forum.

LongK - that Cianthus is wonderful. Sadly some of your pictures are missing - but I hope you will put them up again at some time, as I always love your stuff.

Gaz - your garden is looking stunning even this early in the year. I have a long way to go to catch up with you guys.

You're not the first to say that! I'm missing some photos that other people put up too, yet others can see them. Which ones can you not see?

Its the first two LongK, both now and before. I see that they were uploaded to GC itself, however I have had the feeling in the past that pictures from Photobucket etc always work, but uploaded pictures are not quite as reliable.

I don't know if its just me - but getting GC pages up can be very slow. Perhaps the noshows are simply time-outs, whilst the underlying pictures are all there. This might account for different pictures going missing at different times. Perhaps, if you managed to load them on a good day, the pictures are held in your own Tempory Internet Files on your disk and thereafter loaded from there even on bad days.

Many thanks Kristen. That's very pretty. I was down at Hill House Nursery only a couple of weeks ago. Its really exciting to look round, with cheaper prices at the nursery than quoted on the internet.

I bought 2 really nice Ensete 'Maurelii', about 5 feet high, for £10 each.

Not had a chance to get down there yet this year so had to use our vouchers mail order. It's a good mail order supplier - when we phoned the voucher numbers through the order was a few quid over the value but "we'll not bother with that as everything is behind this year". I suspect that being on the database already may influence that. No probs with size of the plants either, and although their P&P is not cheap it is worth the price.

The noshows are, for some reason, linked to .NET domain, rather than .CO.UK. If I manually change the URL to .CO.UK they display, so the images properly exist on the server (and as far as I understood it .NET and .CO.UK domain names are both interchangeable, except that .NET is used as a fall back when moving the server etc.

LongK if you can be bothered if you manually edit the image link to change .NET to .CO.UK that will fix it

I've raised a separate thread in case RR can shed any light on it:
