What's Looking Good In June 2013

Thanks. Looking at all in general, not just this garden but also the other gardens could use a good pruning.

 

Not guilty Simbad but agree the "John Doe" Iris is lovely whatever it's called.Loop de Loop is cracking too, you have some lovely Iris that's for sure. I'll put up a photo of my small Iris when it starts to flower, having seen your all but black Iris my wee one isn't nearly so dark but it is nice and doesn't get bashed about if it should be windy. Should be flowering in about 3 or 4 days.Just as a matter of interest just how many varieties of Iris do you have!?

 

Got a couple of bearded Iris that were here when I moved in. This one is ok........................


...............but this one is outstanding.....................


Sempervivum arachnoids has opened its first flower....................




My only surviving Salvia "Wendys Wish" has started to bloom..................

 

Eccromocarpus scaber is making itself at home amongst this Clematis.................




Galtonia candicans is struggling..................

 

Despite the slightly irratic weather over the last 48 hours a few things are looking good,

Phytolacca almost in flower


Cerinthe




Clematis Arabella, a herbacious non-climbing variety


Love this plant but always forget its name, its almost flowering
