I have. Just sold the ground that they are planted in.

Might dig them up again & plant them in my car, next couple are planning on bulldozing the veg plot to put a garage in:doh:

Ah yes, so until then they may well stay in the ground, to mature? These things usually take a while...

Mine aren't doing that well because I have to keep them debris netted cos of that ******* cat!

As soon as I take the netting off it uses it as a toilet! :wallbanging:

I'll replace the netting with some heavy duty "thick" wire mesh and start feeding them, the longest day is approaching and thereafter onions start to really bulb up.

I'm out of the running now!

Nearly a year's worth of work has gone down the pan.

My onion bed got flattened last night, cats or foxes, I don't know, all I can do now is rip out everything in there and re-plant with immature seedlings and hope to get a half decent crop.

I'll be putting up the wire mesh today and seriously considering camping out with Shadow, I'm an animal lover but enough is enough, also going to dig out my air rifle.

The bed WAS netted, netting all flattened too! :cry3:

What a pain! It's bad enough to get slug or blackfly attacks....but at least they are feeding. Pointless destruction :gaah:

I've noticed that JWK always seems to have a bottle of wine handy whilst gardening (I always hide mine so they don't appear in pics):

The mood I'm in, I could do with a bottle or 3 of wine!!!!

Onion bed re-planted, heavy duty wire mesh in place and I've cleared enough space in the greenhouse for myself and Shadow to camp out, what's the betting the little so and so's don't show tonight?
