So, there we all are. Sitting on the West Hill or down on the beach at 3.45pm. All looking upwards ? Waiting for something?

If you see my daughter's name on a Vulcan bomber flying overhead, you're in big trouble!

We went to Throkmorton air show last weekend and the Vulcan was there, it scared the bejesus out of my son and set all the car alarms off. It was a fantastic show though.

Scrap that I've just been told it was a Typhoon. Still great though.

              Great pictures Jenny.
There's nothing quite like the sheer spectacle of the Vulcan in flight and the thunderous roar of those engines.
The good news is that 2013 might not be her final year of flying:
              http://www.vulcantothesky.org/news/468/82/We-launch-Operation-2015.html

I'm hoping to see the Vulcan display at Waddington air show in 3 weeks time. Always one of the highlights of the day.

I did a little plane watching of my own from the comfort of my back garden today, the RAF flypast for trooping the colour passes right over us on its way to London. :dbgrtmb:
