So better stock up with Bordeaux mixture.

And it looks like the price of straw is going to increase http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-22866982 (that's if any cereal crops will continue to be grown if this weather continues). Better stock up on Weetabix Minis http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-northamptonshire-22248961

Is this from the same weather team that forecast the "BBQ summer" . They don't score very highly on my credibility radar. They admit them selves that a long range weather forecast is about 3 days with any accuracy.

It's a ploy; everytime they forecast drought it buckets down and everytime they forecast rain we have hosepipe bans. Stock up on sun cream

What a load of codswallop - they can't even predict the weather next week, let alone ten years into the future.

As far as I am concerned, even the government don't believe it - if they did, then surely they would be rushing around arranging to build flood relief schemes left, right and centre? Surely failing to do so in the face of concrete evidence would be failing in their duty of care?

Then they have a chat, think about organising a committee, plan when to plan their planning meeting to plan how to plan the response. Generally drag their heels until someone else comes along and sorts it all out for them, then pat themselves on the back and say how brilliant they've been.
